After losing all the weight, I had excess skin, a lot of rashes, and my clothes didn’t fit properly. Dr. Small made me feel incredibly comfortable, he was thorough about what to expect and what results would be best for me. My results are incredible. When I look in the mirror, I still can’t believe it’s me. They removed 10 1/2 lbs of excess skin. My life has forever changed.

The surgery changed my life 100%, 180 degrees. I am more active, I can do anything I want to do. I don’t have to worry anymore whether or not I’m going to fit in a chair or if I can go out with my friends if I can keep up when we go hiking or when we go to the beach. I even went paddle boarding this year which is something I never thought I would be able to do.

From the moment I walked through the doors I was comfortable and knew this was the place my life would change. I followed the detailed instructions I was given and that’s what lead me to success. Monthly follow ups and continued guidance helped me through my journey. I couldn’t wait to meet Dr. Small and continue my transformation with plastics. He understood exactly what my goals were and carried out some of his best work. I’m waiting for my next procedure, and I can not wait to be a completely new girl.

I feel like a completely different person.
Since losing all the weight (136 lbs), I literally lost half of myself which is amazing, it’s hard for me to believe. I am able to do so much more. So much more with my family, so much more with my children at school, I am able to get on the floor with them a lot easier than I could in the past and roll around with them and play and chase them all over the place and its a great feeling. I think my kids love the new Miss Patti too.

It saved my life.
The driving factor behind me getting my procedure was that I couldn’t get up off the floor with my granddaughter. That was my why. That was my big reason for having this surgery done. After surgery, it was a little bit of a struggle with what to eat. What you put in your mouth that you don’t even think about. You don’t think about what you’re eating or how you’re eating and portion size. It’s what I do now every single day. The procedure has changed my life in so many ways. It saved my life.

I am totally comfortable in my own skin.
I feel accomplished and free. I now can say I’m no longer just living the length of my life but the width as well. Dr. Garber gave my children, husband, and family back their mom, wife, and my life. Never thought I would ever wear a size small anything. I’m living again.
